Let me tell you a little about my story

When I was in middle school, high school and the first few years of college, I was SO unhappy with my body and my weight.

I didn't want to just "accept my body" because I knew I would be more confident and comfortable a few pounds lighter.

I would look at my friends and be so jealous. Why couldn't I just look like that? They were eating chocolate and pizza and takeout. It felt really unfair.

Hey, vanity is allowed!

But I couldn't find a way to lose those pounds without starving myself, or without having to cancel plans with friends in order to stick with "my plan".

I tried a number of diets - but, as I'm sure you can imagine, they lasted about a few hours, or a few days at most. They just weren't sustainable.

It seemed like a real lose-lose situation. It got so bad that I actually had to take time off from college to focus on my relationship with food, and focus on self-care.

During this time at home, I knew something drastic needed to change. I knew I needed more nutrition knowledge about what exactly would help me get to, and stay at, the weight I wanted.

I started taking some nutrition classes at a community college, and when I went back to my university, I switched my major to nutrition.

I'd like to tell you it was smooth sailing after that... but I was a work in progress for another few years!

It took getting my PhD in behavior change, and coaching hundreds of women, and seeing what worked, and what didn't work, to come up with a customizable system that kept me, and my clients, at our ideal weights, for the LONG term!

And, most importantly, I finally was able to figure out what I really wanted - true happiness and bliss, and a mind free of food thoughts. There is so much more to life than constantly thinking about food, SO MUCH more!

Do you have meal plans?
Yes! A new meal plan with a grocery list comes out each week. You can swap out foods based on your specific likes and dislikes. There is also a general meal plan structure with 300+ recipes and meal idea options - so you can customize this plan as well.
How long do I have access to the program?
It's a monthly subscription - you can cancel it yourself at any time!
What format is this program in?
Videos, e-books, and a Facebook support and accountability group. There are also a number of worksheets (PDF, and excel) to complete along the way.
When does the program start and finish?
It is completely self-paced - you decide when you start and when you finish.
Who is this program for?
This program is for those over 18 years of age, and for those who are in good health without any chronic diseases (such as diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, cancer, or food allergies), or those who are breastfeeding. This program also will not work if you follow a vegan diet. As always, please seek approval from your primary care physician before starting any nutrition program.
What else will I need to buy?
It is required that you read or listen to 2 books while completing this course. You can get them for free from your public library, or you can buy them. In addition, measuring cups and spoons make following this program much easier.
Do I need to be able to cook for myself?
It is absolutely easier to manage your weight when you have more control over what you're eating. It's not necessary, but much easier if you're able to prepare your own food.
Do I have to track calories?
I do generally recommend tracking, but tracking is NOT forever! It's a very useful tool to help see, objectively, which foods keep you fullest for longest. It's also a useful tool for accountability, especially since we won't be working together one-on-one!
Do I have to exercise?
Generally, no! Sometimes when we get to weight loss plateaus, exercise can be helpful.
Do I have to buy expensive food, protein shakes, or supplements?
Generally, no! It is a national recommendation that if you're consuming less than 1600 calories consistently that you take a multivitamin.
Is this a quick fix?
100% no. True, healthy weight loss SHOULD be a slow and steady process, which is what makes this program so different from the rest. It is truly a long-term lifestyle change that you can keep up.
Is this a recurring payment?
Yes - it recurs monthly on the date when you started. You are able to cancel your membership whenever you like when you are logged in.
Do the meals and snacks take a long time to prepare?
NO! Less than 5 minutes for many, and less than 15 minutes for nearly the rest. A select few are 30 minutes, but you can opt out of those if you like!
I feel like I already spend $ on food, why should I pay for this?
1. Accountability; 2. Ease of preparing awesome, filling meals; 3. You will spend much LESS money on food now that you can prepare foods that keep you full & minimize food waste!
Am I going to have to spend hours in the kitchen?
NO! Guys. I'm seriously the laziest cook ever :)
Are the recipes for more than 1 person?
No they're for 1 person - if you want to double the ingredients for dinners (e.g. for your partner, roommate, etc.) you are very welcome to!
I'm intimidated to by meal plans with 1000 ingredients, and difficult to find ingredients.
That's good, because this is the EASIEST meal planning program you will ever find :)
What if I'm in my 40s, 50s, or 60s? Will this program work for me?
Yes! The meals are for 1 person, and I do want you to track what you're eating with an app and log onto this online program on a computer or your phone - so if you're comfortable with that, please join!
Can I modify some of the meals for my husband, boyfriend, etc?
Yes! You can absolutely double or triple the ingredients to just make the meals larger.
What if my current calorie intake is very low?
If your calorie intake is under 1200 calories, I do not recommend you use this program.
